We used this shot that is featured in the film as a scene because we felt it had a good mise-en-scene, the colours are all subtle and work well together, the placements of the cups and plates on the table all match and this is a good way to represent a birthday party with a twist. the candle centred in the middle of the table takes the main focus and represents are film title 'the birthday party' as people usually relate cakes to birthdays. The scene we have taken this photo from is a main climax in the film, this is were the main plot in the film is revealed and also holds a lot of emotions from the actors. we will choose one of the shots we took then using a programme we will manipulate the photo to make it more effective and add text.
