Little Silver Stockings, and the Swine Flu Virus

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Little Silver Stockings, who lived in a tall skyscraper in London with her mother. One day her grandmother, who lived on the other side of London, got ill. She had caught the deadly swine flu virus and did not feel very well. So Little Silver Stocking’s mother asked her to go and visit her grandmother with some medicine and treats. Little Silver stockings would not go at first, because there was a new episode of the Hills on TV, and Eastenders was coming up next on another channel. But her mother convinced her that she would buy her a new outfit she wanted so badly if she did it Little Silver Stockings got the basket with the tablets and treats and grabbed her roller skates. As she was leaving, her mother told her to be careful, and not talk to strangers, especially her no good ex boyfriend. Little Silver Stockings promised to do as she was told, and waved her mother goodbye. Little Silver Stockings had gotten her name because she was always wearing a pair of silver stockings. Now she was rolling down the streets of London, among all the cars piled up in traffic and the car drivers yelling at the taxi drivers, the taxi drivers yelling at the truck drivers, and the truck drivers yelling at the pedestrians for crossing the roads and holding up the traffic. Little Silver Stockings was skating across the roads on her hip skates, when a big, black Harley Davidson suddenly stopped in front of her. It was a big tall man dressed in a leather jacket, cowboy boots and dark sunglasses. He pushed his sunglasses down at his snout with his overly large stubby fingers, and gave Little Silver Stockings an evil look. "Well, well, well look who we've got here", he spouted out. "'n' may I ask where your going'?" "I'm going' to' my grandma with some tablets and treats", she muttered underneath her breath, and held up her basket."Tablets?", the Man exclaimed. He was an ex of her mothers, and was known to be a drug addict, the worst kind, "Yup", Little Silver Stockings replied. "She's sick, and my mum thought this'd make her feel better" The man started fidgeting, and getting clammy, he just had to get hold of that basket! "Don't ya think she'd feel even better if ya threw in a few magazines as well?" he suggested, trying to remain cool and appear friendly."See that big store o'er there?" he said, nodding his head. "That's the best place to buy magazines! You could find a whole load of magazines in there" "But I can't afford to buy any i left my purse at home", Little Silver Stockings complained."She’ll be fine with what i’v got her." "I see...", the man mumbled, wiping away the slobber around his mouth. "Tell ya what; this seems to be your lucky day. Take this", he said, and withdrew from his pocket £10. "WOW!" Little Silver Stockings shouted, and grabbed the money. "Thanks, man, you're really cool!", as she went to the shop. Meanwhile, the man was planning his naughty plot. He drove his Harley as fast as he could up to the skyscraper where granny lived. He snuck into her apartment, and as he saw the old lady lying there in the bed, sniffing and sneezing, He threw himself over her, and tied her up and sat her on the balcony, unaware that she was riddled with the swine flu disease he put on her pyjamas, and placed himself in her bed, waiting for Little Silver Stockings to arrive with the tablets and treats.. When she finally showed up, however, immediately noticed who was lying in that bed, and just as quickly figured out what was going on. "Did I by any chance neglect to tell you that my grandma was Carrying the swine flu virus?" she asked, a bit bemused. "WHAT?!?" the man cried, as he now realized what he was facing; a slow and painful death. "NO! NO! NO!" he screamed in fright and despair, his eyeballs turning twice their normal size, and grabbed Little Silver Stockings basket. Within a minute he had gobbled down each and every tablet, but unfortunately did not read the label, and died from an overdose. Little Silver Stockings had never liked her grandmother much, because she never gave her any sweets nor money, so when her Grandmother realised she had saved her life she took the mans Harley and paid for Little Silver Stockings to be insured on it, and from that day onwards, Little Silver Stockings and her Grandmother became very close and lived happily ever after. The end.

I like it! I think you've used/ twisted the original very effectively. I like the characters and you've used Swine flu (or the threat of it) to deadly effect. Well written. Can you see a film in this - Harley Ds and London skyscrapers might need some thought.....
